Notes on functionality

• Each cat has a unique code which drives the pedigree and picture.

• For example with Frostie a code of 100000 is automatically assigned and this code is used to look up pictures in a pictures directory and the pedigree in the pedigree directory.

• Each file must be assigned a number according to the cat code.

• Each cat is assigned an auto-incremental colour code.

• The menus are dynamic and can be changed easily.

• For Pedigree's cats are assigned a sort order which determines the order of display in the Pedigree table and the display is determined by Great Great Grandparents and Female line first.

• Cats which are deceased as status are kept as a separate display as too many cats were being displayed. The intention is that only current cats are displayed.
